I agree, but it looks like that Apple will have to come out with something else to keep them alive. And yes, I think the Zune is better even though I have a Samsung.

Ipod > Zune if line out is used.

Talking strictly sound quality, ipod with line out used, meaning not headphone jack with its crappy colored mini amp but the recharge input, combined with a nice amp connected to it, the sound is amazing.

Going to have to say Apple iPod. Yes the Zune has a bigger screen but it's quality is the same of the smaller screen of the iPod.

What are you talking about? It's an MP3 player, MP3's are horribly compressed and squash out all the high end.

Apple Lossless, and if I use mp3s I only use highest quality I can get away with. anything 196 + is indestinquishable unless you use a very good DAC+AMP and very high quality output. Btw at 80gb, I don't care about how much space file takes.

That is an opinion and has no fact or basis to support that claim. If Apple was going to get crushed by Microsoft, then Microsoft would have made a better MP3 player than Apple which judging from Zune to iPod sales, is not true at all.

Anythings better than an ipod...they're just well marketed peices of crap not to mention you can't plug them into a wall switch so if your on vacation when its out your ****ed. Also you have to use itunes which is a peice of crap. There are MUCH better mp3's out there.

Nah ipod, is not crap. Maybe a little overpriced but at least it delivers what it promises with satisfaction, Unlike Bose, which is a marketing scam.

Angel, all you are doing is talking out of your ass. You have no evidence to back up your claims and all of your "evidence" is nothing but speculation and wishful thinking. Whether or not you believe Zune is better than iPod, the fact remains that Zune's sales are nowhere near iPod's and won't be for a while.
