Satanism is not the worship of satan, but rather the worship of oneself, the opposite of Christian values, hence being called Satanism.

They really just chose Satan as an icon, if I remember correctly. But either way, it's an atheist "religion". It's a set of rules on how to be selfish. And it's silly, if I do say so myself.

I'm not going to argue, and the second one is not an opinion. Do not try to explain to me that it is, because it's not.

Izzy, Satanists don't worship "The Devil", they worship themselves. They are "their own god" and worship themselves. Therefore, they the polar opposite of Christianity which says you must worship god.

Read the wikipedia article, I believe that "Luciferianism" is worship of the devil.
