This forum is likely not the best place to go seeking relationship advice. I will tell you that at your age, unless you can find a boy who is not interested solely in shoving his penis inside you, you don't need to go looking for serious relationships. You should, at any age, worry about cultivating friendships more than boyfriendships. This is not something a lot of girls seem to understand, and you'll probably ignore this advice (because I'm, like, old, and, like, don't know what you're going through).
For the record, there are places like xanga or teenopendiary that are much more likely to be open and nice to the questions you pose, especially about these weird teenage feelings you're suddenly experiencing. What's more, you can delete the negative comments people may or may not write.

Sex? My god who gives a ****. Sure sex is great I guess. It is the greatest physical pleasure you can obtain, but emotional pleasure feels so much better ad is so much more worth it. If I had to choose an hour of sex or an hour of just being with the person and loving each other, I'd choose the hour of being with the person. All of the sex in the world makes me lol

The best way to crush a crush from my experience is by trying to be friends with them. If they don't even want to be your friend, then you'd probably never make a good couple. If you become friends, most sexual desires will fades away and gets replaced with intimacy, instead of a mix or just sexual desires.

tl;dr version: I agree with DDRKid.

Being friends with someone you have a crush on is a pain in the ass, because even if you do have friends those feelings you have will either linger or get stronger. That's part of where the "just want to be friends" situation stems from, and you never REALLY end up wanting to be friends. You get to know the person, try it out, start a relationship, and see where it goes from there. Also, sex isn't important.

Worked for me. Even before we were friends, I totally forgot I had a major crush on her whenever we talked. I just... wasn't insecure when I was talking to her, just when I was around her not doing anything. Now it completely subsided.

I always thought the "just be friends" rule was post-relationship. Again, eh. I guess it's about whatever works for different people.
