i know that came out of no where, and LD sorry for the color.. lol.. i was in a really good mood, prolyl why i left a post in the first place. i read them, but i often dont have much to really say back.. but im serious.. we need to do somthing in the SOUTH EAST.. lol.. to many peopel who have anal parents and no cars/lisences to get all the way to MI or CA

I manage a private video game store in Bowling Green, Ohio, where we also have an arcade. As of right now I have DDR 5th and EX in the arcade as well as a Beatmania 6th and in a couple of days, we should have a Complete 2nd Mix. But we have other games such as Tekken 5, Soul Calibur II, an Ultracade (Street Fighter II bitches!), Gauntlet, UMK3 and Time Killers (yeah, we're fighting game nerds), four Neo-Geo MVSs, Point Blank and stuff like that. The lock-in would put all that on free play but we also usually bring in PS2s for the three tvs we have and plug in a home version of DDR/Gitadora and always Pop 'N Music and BMIIDX with arcade-style controllers. We usually just order pizza and play games all night. Fun times.

How far of a drive would that be to where the arcades are at? Because that sounds awesome, but I'd have to figure out if I want to drive out of michigan just to go there.

It takes me about an hour to reach Detroit from I-75. If you stick to 75 it's almost a straight shot. But I guess it also depends on where in Detroit you live.

Bowling Green is in the Toledo area. I can cross the Michigan border from Ohio in about 15 minutes. It takes me about 45 minutes to get to Ann Arbor from where I live if that gives you a better perspective for the Michigan people.

Let's all go to nestle's place.. FREE ARCADE ALL TO OURSELVES. We can just do a lock-in there. That sounds much better than going to a public arcade. Plus like nestle said, we can order pizza and play video games along with the arcade.

Muskrat: We can split the cost of driving. Plus free arcade... the extra 45 minutes is well worth it.

Also, still not a definite of going. It's way too far ahead for me to know exactly or not. But a lock-in at nestle's job sounds sweet.
