Just a random thought: would it be possible to have like...a fundraiser? sell FFR Tshirts or something? lol i dunno. I think it would help fly in people who live out of state. I know it costs thousands of dollars for only like 3 ppl but still lol this is just a thought. i dunno i just would love to make it to this cuz ive always wanted to hang out with my FFR buds <3

Well, I live on 23 mile road in Michigan, only problem is there isnt really any hotels around here. CJ Barrymore's has a pretty good arcade, that's located on 21 mile road if I remember correctly. I'm not exactly sure if I can make it down to 12 mile road though. Maybe if i'm at my dad's I can since he lives on 17 mile road I believe. I dont have a vehicle of my own so i'd have to borrow one of my parent's trucks/van, and with gas prices, I'm not so sure if they'd let me do that.

Omega, we arleady have decided the location and such(refer to page 31) Sorry Omega, if you can make it though, try to. This is a big event for FFR and I'm sure the community wants it to succeed. Evil hobo, if you want to make a get together in Washington, then you should find out a place where you can do it, dates, and such instead of asking for one in the Michigan get together thread. Dancing, it sounds like an awesome idea, check it out with synth and staff.

Although dancing's idea is great, you'd be pressed to find someone out of state whos parents will let them go alone. Plus, if we raised enough money, who would decide who got to go? That'd be a really tough decision. Any funds generated would go to best use on server costs.

True, it would be a tough decision, but I think you should give it to people who are actually active and somewhat known around FFR. Or just give them to the people who are actually allowed to go. lol. This meeting would be very difficult to accomplish. It's almost like the final task on the Apprentice: set up and put together a meeting party for players on an internet game throughout the nation. o-O

there's a 75% chance i can make it (live in ann arbor 5 min from pinball petes) but the only problem is that at about 9 pinball pete's get bad (punks ppl smoking stuff like that) and where would the meeting point in pinball pete's be?

I'd probaly go on the 6th but the thing is is it ok if we kinda suck cuase i can only do light and standard but neways I'd be the young one there probaly (11) but as long as you ppl don't make me do nething illeageal i'll probaly go but only probaly

Smoking in any form has been banned from Pinball Pete's since about 2000-2001 and the only punks I see there past 9 p.m. are hot Asian girls in short skirts and sweaty DDR/ITG players. If you're that worried you don't have to sweat because I'll defend you with my foot of justice - not to mention there will be a small army of us (power in numbers!). And I'm pretty sure we'll meet at the DDR/ITG machines, all wearing our "My Name Is..." ID stickers.

But since I have Fridays off by default, I'll probably be willing to show up prior to the 5 p.m. scheduled meet-up date. If there's anyone else who would like to meet up earlier in the day, just let me know because spending only 6 hours in Ann Arbor is weak if you've never been there before. If you're an anime fan, you'll probably spend 1-2 hours in Wizzy Wig's alone.

Paragraph one: Everyone bring a knife and a gun. No, just kidding, Ann Arbor is a pretty safe city; even in a place that is relatively shady like PBP it isn't dangerous. If anyone gets hurt there, it's because we'll be kicking each others' asses. So no worries there.

Paragraph two: I have spent about 15 years in Ann Arbor. It's a pretty nice place. They have Zap Zone (laser tag), Wizzy Wig, Digital Ops (LAN and Bawls), Zingerman's (overpriced deli that used to be good), the greater downtown area (has tons of shit), campus (has even more shit), and a dozen other things that I should really be remembering but I am not.


I might not be able to come, and not necessarily due to my parents' disaprobation. I think Camp CAEN ends the day of the PBP goodness. I might be able to leave a day early though, hah. That's if my parents will let me, which is a tossup.


LD: Make a Michigan Meetup Page and post the URL of it in here. I can show it to my parents if they want details. Also, disable anything like commenting...because my parents would be like, "YOU GO TO A SITE THAT HAS RAPIST?!@?!?$?!???@!??? INTERERNET!@!!!," or something to that effect. So yeah. LD or someone else, please hop to it.


EDIT: Vash, smoking pot is a 50 dollar fine if you are over 18, I think. They put you on probation or something if you are a kid.
