Honestly why do employers not just send people out the door if they don't have certs like this? Like especially at higher end jobs if somebody isn't willing to pay 50 bucks and do a little studying if they really have to to land a cert they don't deserve the job, pretty simple.

For the same reason that IT departments exist? Because some people that aren't technologically literate have other talents to offer an employer?

That being said, I suspect this will become a nonissue in the not-too-distant future.

there's actually an industry certification that you can get that shows employers you know the basics of working on a computer. this certification is literally lower than a CompTIA certification in terms of knowledge required.

So basically a diploma at an ITT Tech Graduation class

tl;dr after you use up all your ram (this pc had 4gb) you start using the hard drive for swap space and if you only have 28kb of swap space programs are gonna run really slowly and throw some insanely cool errors

c:\windows\temp was filled with 7k orphaned files from old windows updates. I've seen this issue before and I don't remember why it happens but I'm sure it's a cool error
there were some apple mobilesync backups from 2014 taking up 30gb of space. nuked those.
a temporary internet folder in appdata taking up 15gb, it was filled with fucking xps files and all of them were the same size.
funnily enough that 19k recycle bin thing came from a log folder that was only taking up 10gb of space. there were countless txt files that had no content in them.
