kind of a bump but oh well. i picked pearl yesterday and if anybody has any low level starters that you would be willing to give a beginner that needs help, it would be awesome.

just a turtwig and a chimchar. i dont have a gym badge (thats how much of a beginner i am) so ill post again when i have a badge so i can trade

haha its fine. good point. so to re-ask a question, does anybody have any pokemon, low or high, legendary or not legendary that they would be willing to give away?

Well I don't mean start with level 80's, but why not start with one of the better pokemon? Idk, I restarted my game and got me a level 1 dratini and level 1 squirtle. Just me though :P

I had pokemon fire red, so that's where I got squirtle...I put him in my old game, had him have an egg, trade with a friend, started a new game, and had him trade back. I basically did the same thing with dratini, except I found dratini in Pearl itself.

Just link with one of you other Pokemon gamez, like Green Leaf, and transfer the pokemon to you new game, P.S after you transfer them the can't go back to the GBA game.

the game was fun for a while but after u beat it most people stop playing and multiplayer becomes no fun becasue no one is willing to battle anymore so i just stopped playing all together.

I have an online record of something like 66-6 (all of those battles are against real pro players, too), so I consider myself "good." As for my team...you don't stick with one team, you always switch around.

the game was fun for a while but after u beat it most people stop playing and multiplayer becomes no fun becasue no one is willing to battle anymore so i just stopped playing all together.

Pretty much. But it's still a really great game.
