He's classified as an Uber so I suppose he is. He's banned from use in competition, though.

You can use them, but most people will not agree to battle you if you have them in your party. Also, not all legendaries are Uber. All four of the Legendary Trios are considered non-Uber, as are Celebi, Jirachi, Cresselia, Heatran, Manaphy, and Phione.

I'm doing great. I just started taking onlie classes at DeVry and on the 4th, I got a Piplup from one of my cousins' friends. It's an Empoleon now.

I have a spare Chikorita I'd be willing to trade if anyone has Cyndaquil or Totodile.

I also plan on getting a spare Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Mewtwo once I get through FireRed (already got through LeafGreen). I could use a Ho-oh and Lugia for them since they're the only non-D/P legendaries I need and can't get on my own.

EDIT: 442 obtained so far, 51 left. I'm getting closer.

Just go through the game and catch your own Pokemon. If you just got the game yesterday, why are you in such a hurry to have level 30 Pokemon? Are you trying to sweep through the early parts of the game or something?

Don't try to sweep through the game...

I swept through the entire game up until the elite four, and I regret it >.>. While my team could take out just about anything in one or two shots, it took just as many to put me down.

I got to the E4 with a team of 47s >.>.

Now I pretty much do what I always did when I swept through the game : Level up by going as far as I can =P (right now, I can't get past that 2nd trainer...I have nothing in my team of four that can counter her).

Grass types destroy the second person without any effort, but be sure it has Giga Drain.
