"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor
people probably play cuz you can kill aliens and other shooters. I heard about one time, this is so funny, my bro was playing online and everyone was aiming at him and he said "everyone! Wait!....Dance party!" everyone started moving their guys around and crouching and the guy with the sword swiped it up and down, then my bro snuck up behind everyone and "killed" them."

I actually agree with Dunlop Synth.. truthfully after so long of playing Halo 2 its basically a matter of holding weapons and controlling the map...do you actually see any skill coming from any of the top players? like wheres the double kills, triple kills, killtacs? nowhere... im not saying the pros arent good but its ALL about teamwork...do you not agree after watching all the vids from mlgpro...all they talk about is teamwork...same with the ogres since day one...they always just talked about teamwork. Its seriously not hard to get good with any weapon.. the dual weilds are a joke...they rape close range and its hard NOT to hit someone whos right in front of you, br and snipe are a little more tricky but as long as you keep your cool and dont get frustrated you can basically have those "man i raped this game" games, everytime
Of course rumble pit is different by a little bit...you just have to kinda think outside the box and know where everyone is going to be really good at that. its a matter of learning and id also go as far as to say its about 40% luck
btw im probably never gonna come back to this thread so anyone who dissagrees with what i just said you may as well save your breathe cuz i probably wont read it ^^
You're a jumble noitch banglin yourself all da way to the Elephant house like Cy's ashtray on a bad day.
Yeah, Magnum, that kinda stuff happens all of the time in unorganized custom games. We do stuff like that for fun every once in a while, but usually we just play "pro" games with non-pro players.
Be quiet Synth...youre the crust on the inside of Hildogs boitch with an egg salad at your expense to the exponential surplus of the futuristic sink that snuck a snook up your snizz

That's it.. get your ass on halo2.. Gonna beat you down with a broken needler.
Halo is pretty fun, then again, I only played it a few times, doesnt make me want to buy a 360, but its a cool game. I still think Timesplitters > all.

I think most FPS games are slightly boring in campaign.
Then again, most FPS you don't play for the campaign, you play to shoot each other senseless...
My favorite FPS is C&C:Renegade. Even though it's for the computer.

My method of making love is quite different than you might expect. I prefer to find a girl taking a nap at the local preschool, and then make love to them as they scream in my large, sound-proofed, white van. I then make love on their face, and throw them in an ice-chest of bleach. For pillow talk, I usually say, "Your parents can't hear you," and keep their teddy bear as a momento. You could call me a hopeless romantic, I guess.
-It reduces stress....also increases it when played in the wrong way.
-It has an interesting storyline for sci-fi-lovers.
-multiplayer Multiplayer MULTIPLAYER![eh?]
-Things go boom.
-Parodies and machinimas.
-thats...about...it. yeah.
Quake 3 Depth:
-Pre-fire: You have to know where your enemy is, and when to shoot there.
-Movement: If you know anything about the Quake series, you know about strafe-jumping, which requires months of practice to become decent at. Think about a racing game, where to accelerate, you move your mouse exactly thirty degrees to the left, hold down W, and A, and jump, and then move your mouse exactly thirty degrees to the right, hold down W, and D, and jump, and then repeat, in rapid succession, being able to predict how far you need to fan out to make a turn, like in a racing game. Also overbounce, and double-jumping, neither of which do I have the will to attempt to explain to any of you.
-Aim: Be able to twitch fire at 3 pixels, and hit. You'd be amazed at how hard this is, since your Rail-gun only hits 2 pixels, and only does a square 100 damage. Sounds like alot, but factor in armor, mega-healths, and other sources of health, you'll probably have to get more than one hit in, on your far away, eratically fast moving opponent.
-Rocket Prediction: Bounce your enemy into the air, and hit him once or twice on his way down. Rockets don't move that fast, and oh yeah- your enemy can still move in mid-air to some extent.
-Enemy Prediction: The lightning gun is easy AMIRITE LOL. No really though, you have to be able to know where they're going to move, and shoot at you. Avoid said shots, hit your enemy, don't fall off of a cliff. If you fail at any of these, you freaking die.
-Item control: In quake 3, your health doesn't repair itself automatically in 30 seconds. You have to get your own health, without your enemy hearing you, seeing you, getting hit by pre-fire, or anything cool like that. That, and you have to be able to get weapons before your enemy can, along with armor, health, and any other neat powerups, like quad-damage, etc.
Halo 2 depth:
-Map Knowledge: Know where the guns are. Know where stupid people walk through blind corners, that's damn hard.
-Aim: Very hard, since you know where your enemy is probably going to be, and they can't move very fast, oh and you have a helluva lot of computer assisted aim, aside from the obvious Needler, and Plasma rifle, the Auto-aim essentially aims for you if you are off by 2 inches on screen. Unless that's just the huge net-code boxes, which still isn't really much of an excuse since you can't fix them.
