Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
iggy's idea with the numbers is interesting. although you'd think fojar could have just done that with names too.
about concerns of the wolves block voting, I think that fojar specifically mentioned in the game thread that this would be balanced somehow. meaning there's some blue that sees votes somehow or gets to subtract votes from someone or add votes to someone or something. my hope is that if the wolves do it they'll get caught somehow. Or be afraid of getting caught and not do it at all.
on vote revealing... I propose we do so after the fact. Meaning day two we reveal who we voted for day one. obviously some of the same dangers iggy just pointed out would still be there in terms of wolves being able to see what people are trending towards (but that stuff always changes). yet there would be a greater potential for information gain as wolves I think would be compelled to tell the truth (the votes have to add up), or else look stupid trying to justify a random vote (since that would be the easiest way to lie).
also
that made no sense to me at all. if there's a blue that can see who voted for who died, then that doesn't mean that the wolves are magically privy to that information. I feel like a step was left out of that logic. There can't be a Blue that has the power to see all who voted for the lynchee. Not only would that make it easier for the wolves to pick out those who aren't following to suit, it would also make it quite difficult to tell who was truthfully voting or just bandwagoning in order to escape a block vote.Comment

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
No that's not what I meant. If there were some type of alliance going on and the Blue was able to pick up on those who voted on one person because of an alliance, it would make it a little easier to distinguish those teaming up from those going lone-wolf (no pun intended.)iggy's idea with the numbers is interesting. although you'd think fojar could have just done that with names too.

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
I think this would be our best bet. It prevents the wolves from getting a double kill for the lynch whenever they please like HiTheyCallMeGod suggested, but it will also help us know what's going on, and possibly catch some wolves making mistakes.on vote revealing... Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
So... are we all just going to throw random votes out and hope we hit 5 on someone so the wolves don't get to pick the kill?
We need to do something about this, and if we just sit until the end of the day the wolves are going to get to pick the next two candidates to go.Comment

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
Well, we could just announce one name to vote for on the thread, and everyone votes for them, then as long as most people vote for them, they wouldn't have control. God this no public voting is making my brain itch.Originally posted by sertmanHiTheyCallMeGod angrily stood up, picked a chair up, and nashed it to pieces with his two front teeth.
"I'M NOT ON STEROIDS!!!" he yelled, angrily picking up his folder, throwing it at TPS, and storming out of the room, ripping the door off of its hinges.Comment

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
the whole point of voting, at this stage of the game anyway, is to get information about people's stances/suspicions/etc. If we all massively lynch someone then there's no information to be gained (ie the wolves just go with the crowd).Comment

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
Uh, probably one of the main points of sending in votes instead of posting them is so that they're anonymous. A lot of people base their suspicions on who people vote, and now that they don't have this information it's a LOT harder to place a vote.
They could write 4 paragraphs on why they're going to vote this one person, but then vote for a completely different person when it comes to PMing Fojar. That's one of the main reasons it makes this game harder to trust people and harder to find the wolves. Hopefully there are only 3.
