Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
1. The gap is still off. It is 0.02 (such that the first note comes at -0.02 seconds) when it should be -0.02. I had to go and correct it myself, again.
2. The very first triplet you put in the chart is not a triplet; it should be a straight jack.
3. Okay, I lied, three things. The part with the big left-handed jacks in the opening is -definitely- 12ths, not 16ths. Just listen to it, man. EDIT http://i36.tinypic.com/4lmzyg.jpg
Okay, the chart itself. Better, definitely. Aside from the mistakes I've already listed the percussion or whatever else seems to be left out in moments where it feels it would be appropriate (aka more parts that are broken up or only 8ths); notable is when you're layering in the percussion for a part except on the most major hit, ie at the start or end of the measure. Also, no 16th drum rolls but maybe I'm just a sucker for drumstream. I suppose I'll also say that stepping the 1-1-2 of dragonforce's titular drum pattern as a 1-2-1 minitrill is technically incorrect but it's up to you what you want to do about that.
Also, I had the idea of, when the guitar is holding one of those 4-measure-long chords, simply dropping the freeze and layering drums + vocals until something else happens. Again, your call, if it works it works.
Also also I'd note that since the non-bass drum (sorry I'm horrible with drum names) is by far more prominent then the bass drum it's actually slightly more intuitive to layer in just that than all the drums. That's for if the guitar is doing constant 8ths, for example.

1.) Maybe I'm not understanding you. When I go into the file it says beat offset @ -0.02. And that's incorrect? I thought that's what you said it should be at.
2.) Actually they're all jacks. I just thought it may be a little too "jacky" so I converted them into triplets. There are parts that are even more jacky though, so IDK. I just thought it flowed better that way.
3.) Big left handed jack in the opening? Are we talking about the same thing? You're referring to those 3 note left jacks that repeat a few times, right? If you are then I still have to disagree. The drums kinda drown 'em out, but they're def 16ths.

I'm sticking with the rolls cuz it makes it easy to differentiate between different patterns. Also, I'm certainly not gonna step any of the vocals. Vocals in DF sims just seems terrible IMO. So since I wasn't gonna step them I decided to include the holds. However, when there was a better option, you could see I dropped the holds (just leaving the air) and layered them.

The simfile I downloaded has a beat offset of 0.02. Are you looking in the bottom right for the beat offset or are you looking at what time the first beat occurs at? The first beat should occur 0.02 songs in.

I recognize that the other ones are jacks, but I literally mean the first triplet you put out goes to nothing.

I put up a screenshot so you'll know what measure I'm referring to and what I'm hearing.
Unless there's another guitar drowned out by both the more prominent one...no, two more prominent ones and the drums here, in which case why are you stepping that one?
Valid point no doubt, but like sente3 said, I know my intended audience.
uh, you just defied ducky
what intended audience lmao
there are only two kinds of people in this world who play dragonforce sims: really bad players and really good players. you're gonna get reviews that aren't worth sh*t from the bad players and... well, not poor reviews, but mediocre reviews at best from the good players
try again haha

Well what's wrong with it? Did you play it? Seems like people will say a sim's this or that, but not say anything specific. I mean the only bad thign about the sim is layering inconsistencies which I explained in the description that I was obligated to do. Then it just comes down to preference. Maybe you don't like the patterns. IDK, w/e though, it's kewl =P.

Oh lol yeah! And regarding the triplet, I just wanted to make it stand out compared to that other jack I added shortly after.
And I saw that pic after I posted my comment. I'll look at it again, man, but I'm really doubting it.
Speaking hypothetically, what would you think of the sim as a whole if those "errors" you mentioned were corrected?

I wasn't talking about the file. I still haven't played it. but you REALLY should follow our advice and stay away from dragonforce songs. seriously, there's a reason we say it

I just wanted to step the solo to challenge myself, but you can bet it'll be my last DF sim.
step dragonforce and you ruin your reputation as a sim maker forever
Nooooo!!!!!!!!! All is lost .

unless you make a super amazing technical fun sim to redeem yourself, then all hope is lost
All hope is lost in deed, for that DF sim tired me out. I'm taking a stepping break.
