technically accurate Dragonforce sims are too jacktastic to consider playing.

Well there are quite a few jacks. Most in the sim so far are just 2 note jacks. There's one section with 3 note jacks though, and I think there'll be some 4 note jacks at the end. Also, no 24ths yet, but it sounds like there may be some in the end solo (which is insane). The solo's crazy-long.

Seems like it'll be a 13 footer.

Well, if there is already, or going to be a good amount of 16th stream, then sure, mix it up. It's always nyce to step somethin' differnet.

There are quite a few so I did decide to do that.

Also, I may upload a video preview of it soon just to get some opinions. It's taking forever to make. I mean it's like 7.5 minutes, and a significant portion is very complex solos. It's coming along good though.

Good to hear, man. I'm trying to get it done a.s.a.p., but like I said before, it's taking a really long time. It should be worth it though.

I know. I'm trying to make it perfect. Everybody's idea of perfect is different though. Hey check out this preview to see the basic format:

You can see what I mean by some long holds. But by doing that it eliminates any shaky transition between drums and the guitar. It also permits an actual pattern structure at those parts instead of just randomized 16ths.

I stepped it from a very technical aspect.

*edit* The 16ths @ 1:52 actually seem like triples. Also the syncing appears off cuz I used fraps. And last: I may revise sections. There are a couple parts.

Hmm I like it so far. Only thing I gotta say is that i noticed most if not all of the trills are left handed. Not a problem, persay, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to change them sometimes, so that way it varies a little. Otherwise, I like it.

Kewl. Well the main solo is right after the piano after the last hold in the video.

There are just so many pros and cons in selecting a pattern for a DF sim (referring to the drums over the slower guitar) it makes it hard to choose. Like will the drums be too boring and repetitive? But if I don't step them then the difficulty would arguably be inconsistent. But at least there's more of a structured pattern and it eliminates any transition (like I said before).

Dude, this is my time to not be modest......

I'm almost done with the solo. I spent hours on it. It's the best solo I've ever seen outta any sim I've played. It's absolutely awesome. I'll record it (the solo) once I finish the solo. It'll blow your mind. I'm gonna sponsor it at bemanistyle too.

BTW, there are some 32nd notes @ 175 BPM. Great note variety in the solo.

Well as you can see in the video I showed you it does have some easy parts. I just wanted to keep it 100% guitar (excluding the piano before the solo). But yeah, the solo's epic. It should be done some time tomorrow (before I leave for work). Then I'll upload a video of it before I finish the whole song (cuz I still wanna touch up some of the other parts).
