Okay, I played it.
The guitar is stepped very well. (except for that part in the opening where you have 16ths when it should be 12ths; it's the part with all those left-handed 16th jacks) The problem is that it feels so empty because even when more prominent sounds come up in the song you're still stuck on whatever the guitar happens to be doing there.
The chart as it is is good for an 'I'm playing guitar hero' feel, so I'd leave it as-is then make a semi layered chart above it (and maybe even a full layered chart just to be a jerk)
EDIT: Also, the gap is off. It should be -0.02, so that the first note comes 0.02 seconds in
