You know I actually agree with that icy, all the new files seem to be interesting patterns and not much stream or js. I miss the old Nova Pulser era.
I miss those stepfiles to :< I wish they could do an event or something like that to release some old school stepcharts (with lots of streams/js and that kind of stuff)

Genius!
FFR STREAM WEEKENDS?
Every weekend a stream file is released?
eh, not every weekend.
Maybe we can make the veteran songs classic jumpstream ones.
Only thing I'd like to see is bugs getting fixed, mainly. There are pretty drastic known bugs which have been around ages which haven't been fixed.
The entire Purchased genre comes to mind. As it should be: purchase a song = get that song. As it is: purchase a song = maybe get that song or maybe get some random others instead.
Sometimes playing on Random will give you a song you otherwise shouldn't have access to as well (either Secret or Purchased genre songs).
Both of these, as far as I know, are long-standing well-known bugs and they're still not fixed.
Work on fixing the bugs first, adding features second, IMO.
On replays of songs, I would like a feature which allows you to drag the blue song progress bar to track back and forth through the song. (see: iTunes). one use would be for viewing sections with tricky patterns.
I've changed my outlook on things about this site, so I'll give more ideas that I think will work out favorably.
1.) When FFR's new engine comes out, spread the word. There'll be people who might have touched the game flocking over to see what the new version is like. If they like what they see, they'll stay and possibly tell others, which creates a causal chain that results in users flowing in.
2.) Bring back widgets! You don't have to have a commercial mindset to promote your site with these, and whoever thought that is absolutely absurd. If you tell the artists that they'll have files hosted on our site that aren't downloadable, and say they too can have the embed on their site, they might feel a bit more comfortable. Potential win/win for both parties which ends in exposure of an artist's userbase within our game - another potential gold mine for bringing people in.
A more sleek and modernized website design. Some parts of the website are obsolete or hard to find and should be reworked or removed.
When you go to the homepage for ffr there needs to be a better indication of what the website is about. The "ffr game" button is this tiny textbox in the top left corner that new members might never see or click on.
Izzy, I agree. Going to thirdstyle, you see this massive banner explaining what the game is about....while we don't need something that big, a header that actually meant something would be good. Do we still have the welcome to FFR banner that new users used to get?
