How about Local Mods that can lock threads and delete posts in their assigned forums and ban people for 1 hour to one day maximum (if certain persons need a longer ban, they can talk to the Forum Moderators/Super Moderators) to prevent spamming and trolling or something

That seems like a good idea. I don't see any abuse possibilities there. lol

Make it a requirement that in order to have an alternate account you must inform an administrator first. If you make an alternate account without informing beforehand, it'll get banned.

I still think this idea should be implemented. Probably instead of an admin okay-ing the alt, a local mod could.

I really like the Idea of skill tokens in the game! Like the xboxs achivements, or play stations trophy system, If there were a point system implemented in the game like a new credit system it would encorage more people to join.
What if for instance we did away with credits, and instead of awarding a number of points for the score you get, award them for getting AAAs, FCs, and passing songs for the first time. And instead of needing 100000000 credits to unlock an item, only needing a handfull as they would be much harder to come by.

Instead of having the shop turn it into a place to find out how many credits are required before you unlock a specific song. Buying songs with credits is too oldschool. lol

But i feel as though they were only local mods, and still had to report to a higher more controlled Admin/Mod that it would still be containable.

I'm a local mod in Chit Chat, Newbie Forum, and FFR Suggestions. I can lock threads, delete posts, and do all of the "quick mod" functions. I can't ban though; I have to report anyone to a forum mod or an admin. What you've explained pretty much already happens, except for banning powers for local mods. It could work, though, because there honestly aren't many local mods who aren't forum mods (that are active).

Oh, also, I think credits should be retired, and be replaced with something else. They've pretty much lost all value, because of the lack of opportunities to use them (Except secret songs, but you get my point). I think that we should introduce a new form of "currency" or something. The value can fluctuate if we want, with different ways to use it. Or we can think of a different idea.

EDIT: Final thing to add, I will edit the OP with all of the ideas that are suggested in this thread.

Just saw this this thread. First of all, thanks for for putting this thread up, I'm too slow with updating, and thanks for putting the few updates I made on your OP.

Now then, with the local mod being able to approve of alternates. I think should be more of a vote. Maybe have all the local mods (or just a randomly selected few) and vote on whether they think they should be able to have the alt. The person creating the alt would also have to write a random thought on their alt's wall immediately that they are an alt, who you are an alt of, and why you are making the alt, to make it a little easier for the Local mods to decide.

Yeah making more people Local Mods was my basic idea with that suggestion

Just to get it back up on the recent threads list to see if anyone else has any ideas.
And in the realm of new tokens we could have tokens for FC'ing all of a specific difficulty.
And have it take into effect people who already have them all FC'd by just having them check their levelranks page.

* Something to use the credits (I don't think removing them or changing the currency will fix anything, cause it will happen again eventually)
* Put some kind of Simfile database, but very limited. Maybe for veterans only?

We're trying to remove elitism as some sort of ruling. Giving Veterans-only power over something isn't a good idea.
