As of now, most people use 1.5-2.0, so if new mods are going to be added, it should focus on that range, though there's probably a good number who desire 2.0+ (I doubt anyone needs a 1.1). Personally, I could use a 1.8-1.85 or so.

PS- 3rd style is just a myth

(who the hell thinks I use 1.0x screencut anymore? I needed it back when there were speedmods but still avmisses because it was way too hard to learn visual timing for 3/4 framers with speedmod, but now that they're gone it'd be silly for C700-SM-using me not to use them)

I wish I could regress, but whenever I try to change from x2.0 to a lower speed mod, my ability to play significantly decreases. It's not fair.

The problem with having speedmods above 2x lies in the fact that

1. FFR's framerate is so bad on speeds above 1.50 (I can see the individual frames down to that speed).

2. FFR's screen is so much smaller than SM's, it's like screencutting a LOT when compared to SM.

I play on C705 on SM (The equivalent of 2.35x or so on FFR), yet since FFR's screen is less than half of that on SM's, the arrows feel so much faster...and the framerate doesn't help either. Personally, speeds above 2x would overwhelm me on FFR, but that's just me.

I am comfortable with 1.50x and 1.75x it just depends on the day and what i'm doing. there should have been a multiple choice allowed.

It's been suggested over and over again. It's even been implemented in FFR R2. Why can't we add it already?

More between 1.5-2.0x they would be the most useful speedmods.

1.75x ftw.

I play C575-C650 on SM... close enough. I can go for 2.0x, but it doesn't run smoothly enough for my sensitive eyes. They get tired too quickly.

I think they should change the label name from xmods to cmods.

I use x1.75 but I would prefer about x1.85-x1.90.

I'm totally down with that.
Im finding 1.75 getting to be a bit slow, but 2.00 too fast.
