The key to vRofl is consistency. IMO people overcompensate and hit too MUCH and boo out in certain sections. Play the song using a consistent mash approach until you fail out, and then on those sections try better mashing techniques. For instance, for walls I tend to just jack all four buttons over and over again (sometimes it helps to overlap fingers on the up/down keys if you find yourself short). Experiment with different mash speeds and see what tends to work. I tend to do low/quiet consistent vibrating. By the end of the song though my hands are about to fall off. It really does hurt, lol. Pants is nothing compared to vRofl in terms of how much your hands tire.

Oh yeah, it also helps to understand framer-heavy sections and how they impact your life bar. Averages don't do crap for you, so don't overmash and start getting too many Averages/Boos, but don't go so slowly that you miss too many arrows. IMO walls are the worst enemy in vRofl because they can make or break you. Always remember tough, when in doubt, shoot for fast consistency, not out-of-control vibrating.

By wall are you referring to the first mini-wall or the second more larger wall?

Have you tried alternating-mash? Left+Down on one hand alternating with Up+Right on the other? That can get through walls pretty well if you do it right.

The first large-ish wall... The one that actually takes up your screen on 1.5x... It's just all red/blue/yellow. I don't know why, but I can't pass it at all... Every time I've played it, I've gotten close (like hitting a few notes after), but then I fail out.

Are you going too slowly and missing too much?

Try sitting up from your keyboard, angle your hands downward. Sit up such that you have some room to stretch out your arms down at the keyboard. This will allow you to put some body weight/arm muscle down into your hands when you jack. Try seeing if you can force a faster mash this way with the additional force helping you.

When it comes to speed, always always come in from the top. IMO trying to jack quickly with your hands parallel to the keyboard is just too impossible and hard on the hands. If you do it more vertically you get so much more assistance from your forearm muscles.

Hmm... I've really never gotten tired... My longest spree was Balloon Fever for 12 hours, but that didn't make my hands much tired... I'd figure if I played for 24 hours straight, the song that would make its first effect is Frictional Nevada... but I'm not sure.

I forgot about vROFL, but I never played it...

My hands don't get tired on FFR, even vRofl doesn't compare to hard SM songs that aren't omg-bs that actually that make my hands cramp. vRofl is mashing, but actually trying to hit 200bpm+ jumpstreams is tougher on me.
