While I am a big fan of Metal myself, it still roots ultimately to rock so I see no point in adding sub-genres because before we know it there will be about 40 just for Metal itself. Even if it's still in rock, who cares? It's like creating sub-folders in sub-folders in sub-folders...at some point it just gets a bit tedious so might as well just leave it.

We have several metal permissions.
nobody EVER steps them.
I am currently stepping 2 songs by HORSE the band, who has gone unstepped for 8 months. I am taking my sweet time with them so don't expect them anytime soon.one hand, no mercy...

Dude I know a few bands that would be happy to let us used their songs. They are bad ass bands too that are on the rise. Check out Brother Von Doom and Chokeout on Myspace, I know them both personally. As well as Desolation. I have already talked to them and asked if they would be willing to and they agreed that it would be a good idea. I know tons of metal bands. Good ones too.Comment

Ok how about this, in most of the music stores here, where we buy Cd's and ****. There is a Metal Section, SEPERATE from the Rock section. There is a huge difference between Emperor and Led Zepp. On the radio as well, there are rock channels, country channels, and metal channels. I can sympathize with the whole "Then people would want dance subgenres such as Trance, Rave, Ambient, and **** like that", but it basically ties down to the emotion of the music, I can't think of a rock song where the music is nearly as aggressive as metal. Also, what do you all have against having a metal section, if they DID decide to add it, would you go and whine about it? Or just let it be. I'm sure there are more people here who would love to have a Metal section added. I am by no means, trying to be disrespectful, this is a game, But I think a majority of the people who play FlashFlash would have no problem simply adding a Metal section, if we were able to get the songs and permissions to use them.Comment

wow while the little kids who seem to not get that they cant just sit back and complain about the lack of metal i myself have already sent out countless amounts of permision request to use over 200 metal artist... if you guys were so advant about it you would be doing what im doing ...something other than bitching.....and for the guy who said that this is america and we should be able to say what we want and get fat and what not ..... do me yourself and everyone else a favor and go kill yourself its ppl like you that make the world a horrible place because its you who will grow old and fat and it will be me working hard and paying for your food like so many other good ppl because you want to be ****ing lazy.
for all the ppl who want more metal power to you but i dont think that we should have a different section for it dance and dance 2 both have techno tranceambient and so on i do think that metal would be a good addition to the site but i repeat you cant sit back and expect it to be handed to you the good ppl of ffr try to keep us happy and the site is basicaly free so try to give back you know and to all the people who are trying to get more metal i salut you and i salut the people who see the idioc of the few and have the balls to tell them what needs to be said thank you allGot Yam?Comment
