I almost missed it. I looked in the forums scrolled down and it said FFR tourny Round 1

I said wtf then i realized it started i was waiting for a PM or something.

Baha and bill should be plenty of competition for you.


And scottish... this is to be expected. In League 2, with ~1000 people signed up... less than half submitted a score for the 1st week. And it wasn't until like the quarter or semi finals until everyone from all the divisions submitted.

I didn't mean competition that way, I meant I dont want to win any of my matchups by the other person not knowing about it.. Not that Baha or Bill aren't comp rofl..
Oh, and most likely me and bill will be matched up sooner or later..considering the opposite always happens for me,
He doesn't want to play me, I don't want to play him, so i'm calling we are the next matchup on a song that we both are fairly decent at.
Thats if I win this round, and same goes for him.

Hm, personally I think that there shouldn't be a front page announcement about this round. It's already sort of too late, and besides it weeds out the people to lazy/unmotivated to even check on it.

I felt nice so I let them off with a warning.

But here's a nice happy warning for everyone:

ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS SOMEONE PLAY ON THEIR ACCOUNT AND SUBMIT A SCORE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Oh, and if the person who played on their account is in the tourney, they get disqualified too.

p.s. getting disqualified from this tourney for cheating = probably disqualified from the next few tournies if not from all tourneys forever

just wondering.. how is it even possible to find out if someone played on someone elses accounts.
lik if i told my godly frend to go on my comp and play for me and take a screen then how would you find out without using super mind powers? which i dont doubt you have.
this is all hypothetical of course =D

I'm guessing IP's would be different, unless someone was at your house..
So giving out your password to someone to play a song on would show up as a different IP, and all Shash would have to do is see who's IP that is.

He probably based it off of previous scores. If all your other ones just suck and then all of the sudden you get an AAA.....There's something wrong.

Edit: I just realized I'm not a "junior member" anymore....*does a dance*

Tass said earlier that he couldn't even check IPs... The only way I can think of is someone getting an abnormally high score when it was convenient.

Could be wrong though.

tass should be able to check Ip's, hes an admin. I'm a mod on another site, it has something similiar to this, and i'm able to check ip's.
If shash can't check ip's, then the next plausible thing is synth did.

Of course, in the off chance that you do have a real life friend who plays ffr *and* is good at it *and* who is willing to play for you to get a good score, they can't do anything about it.

except this is exactly what happened with the guy I caught

I have my ways of figuring this stuff out.
