I have no trouble with those jack runs. It's random misses in various places that leads me to continously have 2 freakin goods.

I now officially want to commit suicide. Sushi Bars needs to go to the eighth circle of hell and rot forever in misery and pain. Every time I do it I get two random goods somewhere in the sixteenth note runs. Every time!!! 2 goods.

OK, I've decided what I'm going to do about ties in tiebreaks.

If there is ever a tie of a tiebreak, the two players who tied on the tiebreak will play One Minute Waltz as the second tiebreak, regardless of their division.

If they somehow tie on that they play Revolutionary Etude, and the chances are truly infinitesimal that they'd tie AGAIN on that.

Now I just hope that for the sake of a good laugh...Someone DOES tie on all of them.

That just spawned an interesting question, that I'm sure has been answered already....

How long do the tie breaker rounds last?

About one minute waltz, IMHO, it'll become whoever can out-mash the other. What would be best IMO would be to have them MP against each other on the original song, if they tie live against each other, then they go at it on the second song, if it comes down to it, then they play the first song on the next class, for instance, if me and another begginner tie live on crystalis, we live against each other on stalled out and sushi.

it's so insanely unlikely that people will tie the tiebreak anyway that I don't really care, I'm just trying to propose a solution that will DEFINITELY end the tie and be fair to all parties

Ryusei: Tiebreaks are announced during the week, and end when the round ends.

I would just hate to lose to someone that I'm better than, simply because I suck face at mashing. The player that is better at pulling off a scrub move will be the one to advance, doesn't seem fair.

Mashing is a skill. OMW, for nearly everyone, tests that skill.

It's a nessecary part of FFR.

If you suck at mashing, then you deserve to lose to someone who is more skilled than you.

God why THIS song, I keep getting one good at it's annoying the hell out of me.

It's such an easy song, but it's cursed or something...

Mashing is nigh impossible for those of us that have keyboards that register only two keys at a time (hey), so, "outmashing" could be really determined by the type of keyboard one has.

The only problem I have with tiebreakers is, what if somebody enters their score late, so their opponent can't send in a tiebreaker score? The whole competition can be spoofed like this, and I'm not going to stay up 'til midnight last day just to see if I need to send in my tiebreak score. I'd like the rule to be "last day" for tiebreak submissions, just so there's no cheating in that regard.

Or, make the round end as usual...Then make the tiebreak day the following day.
