The perfect windows overlap, like so:
|av|gd|pf|gd|gd-miss|miss|
.........|av|gd|pf|gd-miss|miss|
As you can see, the perfect window is covered by the average window of the next arrow. The second arrow takes precedence over the first, so if you were to hit a perfect on the first arrow, it would register an average for the next arrow and completely ignore the first, giving you a miss.

-Don't bother trying to cheat, you'll be caught and immediately disqualified. Using "secret arrows" and getting a higher combo than should normally be possible is considered cheating unless specified otherwise (I'll make it very clear if I decide to use the song where this could be a confusion). It's also cheating to somehow try to secretly play in a lower division than you are placed in. Cheating will not be tolerated, and any evidence of cheating will result in disqualification. Also note that trying to piss me off by trying to bend the rules or trying to find loopholes will get you disqualified.

When setting the parameters I underestimated the skill level of the people who would be in beginner, which is why I'm making this change.

shash, count me out in the tourny if it's still possible. i can only afford to spend around 10mins or so per day for ffr or even lesser on some days due to my examinations. sorry for the trouble.
