                                If we're taking suggestions for things that will help bridge this divide, I have one.
                                Consider having an official staff Twitter account where in 140 characters or less they can post an update on whatever Project X they are working on. If they hit a roadblock, let us know there will be delays. Post ETAs for projects and when they are complete, then create a post on the front page. This will hopefully increase some of the transparency issues between the staff and the users. While I understand some things need to be kept private for certain reasons, this could be a small step toward appeasing the no-transparency complaints. I understand there is an FFR Facebook group, but the need for staff-only access makes this a better way of distributing information.


                                To the topic: as much as I didn't care about the change from combo to raw scoring, it is what needed to be done. The tournament format for scoring should be the standard format for scoring and I'm not upset it happened. It was due time for the change. So thank you for that, staff.

                                As for the fighting, that's just something the users have to stop doing. Sometimes staff responses are simply the wrong course of action, as it gives those already complaining a more clear shot to the target. Is it what users want when they are asking for a response? No, but that's life. Put on your big boy or girl panties and deal with it. The staff doesn't go out of their way to call the users out and complain, why should it be something done the other way around. Be civil about things you don't like and discuss them.

                                The leaking of private conversations or information in some cases should certainly be grounds for removal, but I think in light of the recent toxicity and for the purposes of this thread, it is not. That is an issue for another thread. We are trying to come together to solve our problems, and that is one issue you all can discuss at another time.
