the end is near..

all these beautiful times that ive been taking for granted.
all of those lunch hours, the football games, the places, the faces..
its all too close to the end now.
dont know if i can bear to see it slip away.

everyone's a clone lately -
all with the same hardcover blue book
with faces and memories inside.
take mine. write me a hint of your reality,
so i can pass it by over the summer months
and think of you.

"you should go now before i hold you longer and cant let you go"
go for it.
i wouldnt mind at all.
in fact, i wish you could never stop doing just that.
but alas, it may become awkward.
people would stare. shoot their rounds.
but id be close to you.
thats all i really want.

alas, my poor soul..
the end grows swiftly near.

i dont like summer very much. ^-^
