Goodbye [Poem]

I wrote this poem at the age of 15 and dedicated towards my ex bestfriend. It's mainly discribing how we felt towards each other.

GOODBYE

Unfinished dreams of unfamiliar beliefs
Lingering through our minds like a nightmare of mine
Now it's time to say goodbye
Because what we don't know isn't essential to unfold
For it's obvious you don't love me so
It was all just a decoy, the illusionist that you are
A fake I no longer know
Hiding yourself behind the mask painted upon your face of lies
I thought you were someone who would help me pull through
But you kept inside and left me behind
Maybe we were to young to understand what it takes to survive in a world of destroyed dreams and lonesome nights
Now let's say goodbye
For the last eternitites of our lives
'Cause you'll never understand who I am
While your lost in your hate and lies
Goodbye...
