My favorite band of all time is Kittie, I am not sure what keeps me so... Attached to them after all these years. My second favorite band is Tristania. This spot was once Nightwish until Anette replaced (Miss drama/Diva) Tarja. Tarja was the perfect voice for Nightwish and even though behind the scenes they were experiencing drama, they still created a beauty that cannot be recreated again. I felt: With Tarja's voice that if you closed your eyes, listening to the music, you could dream of a beautiful goddess just out of reach and even though you could not touch her... It was perfect right there. There was a beauty in the music that made it feel marvelously forbidden, deep mystery, and most of all, a chemical wedding of dark and light. With Anette, I feel that all the beauty is gone. That BEAUTIFUL music has been replaced with... Just good music. Anette's voice is great, but in the state of "just another voice." MOVING ON! My third favorite band equals Slipknot. I think I'll leave it here. XD
