Okay, so obviously I'm in the military (the pic of me in my uniform =D) and I got selected to go to California to help with the wildfire relief. Oh joy. So I'll be gone for at least a month. Wish me luck. ;D

Boy I wish money grew on trees...

Okay, so I bought a car.. 11 grand for a 1993 Mazda RX-7 Twin turbo 5-spd with a custom black and blue interior and custom gun metal gray exterior. It had a Stage one rebuild with the streetport option and 3" exhaust. Boy, I thought I had landed a sweet deal! I could turn around and sell this car for 18+ grand easy because it's a highly sought after car of the street racing industry. This would not be so... Two weeks after buying it, the engine dies. It's an apex seal on the rear rotor.. God damn! I took it to a well known shop in Kannapolis, NC called Rotorsports. These guys have an awesome reputation and people from California sent their RX-7's there.. So they finish going through my car and I land my estimate. Holy crap.... Seven grand to fix it?! Supposedly, the rear rotor and the apex seal needs to be replaced along with my radiator. My ast tank was leaking and my vacuum lines blew out.. The person that sold me this car obviously didn't know what he was doing with it.. And it was my fault also, being a mechanic, I should have checked before I bought it.. So remember, ALWAYS have a mechanic check out a used car if you're going to buy it, or at least make sure you KNOW it's mechanically sound! (This should be a big duh but some of us aren't born with super high IQ's.. :)) Learn from my mistake!! I'm nearly 30,000$ in debt because of my stupid decisions.. =D
