I can never get a break from fires Posted on: November 15, 2008, at 09:31:31pm In 2003, I lived in Los Angeles during the Wildfires in Southern California. In 2007, I lived in San Diego during another firestorm. Now I'm staying in Lake Elsinore for the holidays, and on the other side of the hills right by me are more fires. I'm about 30 feet from a street and sirens are passing by as I type this. I swear to you it feels like armageddon, when will I ever get a break? |

Well right now I'm in Diamond Bar with the NWS. Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency, and it's like a nightmare here. The winds are calm, but I was in Yorba Linda and I saw alot of destroyed homes. Trees are charred as well. Right now the fire is here (in Diamond Bar), and firefighters are foaming the backyards. Wish me luck as well.

My sister lives in New York. Anyways I'm not going to move across country after I've gone this far in life. I got two exciting jobs (which both pay well), I live by lake, and I got family out here. I go to Japan very often for business reasons, but I'm a Californian lol. The Californian life is the most bizarre lifein America *wink*

Oh, I forgot to add something. Right now I'm going to college, I'm working my way up to a master's degree to work for the NSSL. My father is in the military (he's currently in Germany), so I can go to any university in California for free. I don't know why he's in Europe though, he rarely ever talks to me.
