I wish I was the kind
who could look death in its many eyes
and bid it come.

Maybe I would take a wide stance
with arms akimbo
and smile a confident smile
as it lay down its many arms to select my end.

Or maybe, I would grab it by its bony hands
and thrust it to the floor
and say I wasn't ready to go.

I wish I could face violent death unfazed
look upon its red and black attire
and charge straight
unto the gleaming sword it points at me...

But behold the life that is...and therefore will always be. A never ending chain of the sweet soft sounds of birth and its polar opposite, silent dark death. This is why I say to my family, behold the life... never let it go. For if you do, then what will come of it?

Nothingness is what I'm afriad of. If nothing orrures, then nothing ever changes. Therefore, no new fresh begginnings, nor satifying endings.

So behold the life that is; and never let if go. Change will come to us someday, that is all I know.
