Some people think that valentines day is a huge waste of time, as if that the day was invented just to spend money on eachother... yes in some cases that is true but valentines day is also a symbol of love.. a symbol of joy and even a symbol of friendship. met a new friend just the other day,
on the playground at school.
Between the tires and the swing
But she came home with tear filled eyes

Because I didnt know how much my little girl had been hurt

I wasnt ready,

My little girl laid her head down that Night to go to sleep
As I stepped out the room I heard her say a pray soft and sweet
God bless my mom and my dad

I had the worst night of sleep in years
as i tryed to think of ways to calm her fears
I knew just what I had to do
But when we got to school on monday
i head the news

My little girl asked me why everybody looks so sad, the lump in my throat grew bigger with every question she asked

Untill I felt the tears run down my Face, And I told her Alyssa
Wouldnt be at school today

Becaues she doenst lie in the classroom
She doesnt lie anymore at school
Alyssa lies with jesus
becasue theres nothing anyone would do

Tears filled my eyes
