SpinItUP! Spinfile of the Week – Music by dbu
Hi kids, I’m back from my vacation and ready to bring you some more musical SpinItUp! goodness!
This spinfile of the week almost feels like a follow-up to the song for the week, why? Because it’s a song by dbu!
Yesssss has graciously made us another spinfile and this may be one of my most favorites out so far.
Dobu Usagi – Plastic Mind [Difficulty: 7]
Keep watching for spinfiles every wednesday, and don’t be afraid to submit some of your own to spinfiles AT gmail DOT com!
Love,
SOTW – Bicycle Break & Final Fantasy 3 Boss Remix! Enjoy!
Hey guys, it’s time to enjoy new songs.
SotW #1 of this week is Bicycle Break.
Song is by Tomas Dunker. He has been making songs with various instruments, such as piano,
clarinet, saxophone. You can listen to other songs in his homepage.
Steps are by stargroup100. This song isn’t very fast and arrows aren’t continuous at all,
but basic rhythms are 24ths and has many doubles so Difficulty rating is 3.5/6 (Difficult).
You can currently find this song in Funk section.
* now moved to Arcade.
SotW #2 is Final Fantasy 3 Boss, remix of an arcade song.
This song is remixed by dBu. Accurately, “dBu Music” is a name of the site, the handle
name of this author is Dobuusagi. He is also known as one of Touhou Project music authors.
Steps are by dore. It’s a speedy battle song (165 BPM) and has a lot of doubles.
also there are some 32nd bursts at the ending so we rate it 4.5/6 (Challenging).
This song is also currently in Funk section.
* now moved to Misc.
Have fun with SotW,
Completely Rewritten Profile Chat
In case you guys have not checked it out yet, we have written a new profile chat that is more stable, a little larger, better room switching and down the road it will have much more functionality. When you view a profile LIKE CLICKING MINE *COUGH* you will be able to use the chat. Users that are not logged in can also see the chat but cannot participate unless they are logged in.
Enjoy! btw.. We added some hidden functionality in there that will be used soon.
Cheers,

Get Them Before It’s Toooooo Late!
Actually, I am serious about this. If you want one of the Top 1000 player T-shirts (Check the detail images in the store to see if you are on the shirt) you should buy one before your size runs out. These suckers are dwindling quick and we will not be re-running this same design again in the near future. The design has been a huge success so far and we couldn’t be more happy with the orders. I am sure posting this news story will accelerate the sales a bit but it’s the only way I have of warning you guys to get one if you really want one. Thanks again for your tremendous support for FFR.
Cheers,
Synthlight + the shirt elves that work tireless to bring you quality clothing
Bomb the Base
So, it’s now 10 of 2am here in Philadelphia… but I’ve managed to get home from a nice night of drinking to add the aforementioned song by Nestlekwik. Should and sweet news post about it, sans links (cause i’m a little drunk!)
Bomb the Base is our first song by Paradise Decay, but it features vocals by Nina, our resident goddess of dance. It’s the 21st file released by Kwik, and my 21st really really easy AAA of a kwik file.
You can find it in the upper left hand corner of Dance, for now. It’s a low 2.0, in my opinion… but i’m open to hear the opinions of others.
PS – you can hear more from Paradise Decay and more from Nina.
Yours Forever,
What?!? Kwik isn’t DEAD?!?
so… we all love those classic files by Nestlekwik. The ones that have been on the site for years longer than we have. The ones that seemingly were here before Synthlight himself. Classic files such as Secret Zombie Room, Breaking the Common, and Trip to the Moon. And yet… not one of his files is hard. He is the original dore.
Anyway… why do I mention all this? Well, first off, because Kwik is an awesome dude and deserves the recognition. But, more importantly, he made a new file for FFR. His first in at least 3 years. And it is REALLY REALLY REALLY hard. Well….. no. No, it isn’t really hard at all. a low 2.0/6, I believe.
So, if you’re looking forward to playing the new Kwik song, check back in some time this evening for more details!

Top 1000 Players T-Shirts Now Available!
So many of you wanted a T-Shirt with your name on it. Now you finally have your chance! As many people saw at the convention, we had about 300 Top 1000 Player T-Shirts made for the event and now we are selling those T-Shirts to the public. They come in just about every size imaginable from small to 2XL and are available to purchase and ship immediately! There is currently no shipping charge unless you live outside of the U.S. (-Moo- Yours is on the way and is signed!)
We showed you a sneak peak last week. The shirts required 4 seperate screens on 2 sides and 6 coats of paint. It was truly a monumental task to get these shirts printed. We have done everything in our power to keep the price of these shirts low for you. This includes driving the shirts nearly 1000 miles to avoid FedEx charges.
Check them out:
–>>You Can Buy Them Here While They Last<<--

On a side note let me thank everyone for being part of the convention this weekend. We had a great turnout and so many of of you showed up and helped out with the convention. I cannot believe we worked that room for like 15 hours or more. It was a crazy time and I will detail it more in a seperate news story tomorrow.
