Hey synth, you should probably specify what type of chinese you need them to speak. Mandarin or Kantonese.

Cantonese*
Also, Chinese is all the same in writing/reading. It’s just the speaking that’s different. I can speak fluent Mandarin and I can understand Cantonese. Both my parents can speak Cantonese and Taiwanese too.

yea… chinese isnt a language, its an ethnicity. There is cantonese, mandarin, and japanese, those are the languages you are trying to use. But really, you need to know wtf your trying to read/write before you ask for a translator. Funny seeing a Cantonese translator trying to translate japanese.

Give me about 9 weeks of basic training and then 25 weeks of Linguist Training, and I will be fluent in Arabic, both variations of Chinese, and Japanese. After the 25 weeks, I will then be able to pick any language of my choice to work on while interrogating people. Please tell me if you need any other language and in 34 weeks from January 15 (my ship date) I will be able to translate anything you want. Also, there are a few websites that have translators on them, just google Chinese->English online translator, specify which type of Chinese you want, make sure you have NO typos and then submit your text.
You can also do trail and error, by trying a few translators (there are alot!) and posting them here and let one of the people here at FFR check and see if it is legible and has correct grammar.
Just a couple of Ideas.

A few of my friends can speak some Chinese (they’re taking courses) and they might teach me a thing or two so I’m not COMPLETELY helpless when we all go to China. I can ask them about it, if need be.

I am a chinese.
I declare that chinese is also a language although there ere many diffrents pronunciation such as cantonese and mandarin but it is one and only writing.
THE 34th comment said that “There is cantonese, mandarin, and japanese!”is just wrong.
Also I can read/write chinese but as you know from my words that my English is poor.
Synthlight ,if you just wanna to do it i will help you by brain storm.
