Oh, great. Are you doing this again just so you could say you're doing it for the 4th time?
Yes. Of course not! It's all in the spirit of giving!

*pfft* Okay, just give me the rundown.
We're going back to the traditional guess-a-number format used for the second giveaway, but with a twist -- you can choose to enter one of two different drawings!
Each drawing will have different payouts for a set number of people; choose wisely!
The two drawings will be labeled Green and Red for convenience's sake. Christmas colors!

To enter, simply post a number between 1 and 10,000 (inclusive) as well as either "green" or "red" to indicate the drawing you are entering. (Alternatively you can color your number green or red or anything of the sort; as long as I know which drawing you are entering, you should be fine.)
You may only enter ONE drawing, and your number must not have already been posted by another user entering the same drawing.
Once you're on the spreadsheet of entrants, your number/drawing choice are final!


And the deadline and payouts are?
Entries are open until Wednesday, December 31, 2014 @ 11:59:59 PM server time. Soon after the deadline, I will use random.org to draw two numbers between 1 and 10,000 -- first for the green drawing and second for the red drawing. The 5 closest guessers in each drawing will win credits, and the payouts are as follows:

Green Drawing
5th place: 10,000 credits
4th place: 20,000 credits
3rd place: 40,000 credits
2nd place: 160,000 credits
1st place: 320,000 credits

Red Drawing
5th place: 20,000 credits
4th place: 40,000 credits
3rd place: 80,000 credits
2nd place: 96,000 credits
1st place: 192,000 credits

In case of ties (i.e. two or more people were off by the same amount), the higher prizes will go out to the earlier guessers - so be sure to get those posts in ASAP!


Hmm, these payouts are kinda underwhelming...
Guess what? There's another twist!
After the winners have been determined for the two drawings, I will pool all entrants excluding those 10 winners and draw a third number between 1 and 10,000.

The second closest guesser from the pool will win 598,611 credits.
And the closest guesser will win a $20 amazon.com gift card sent out via e-mail!!

A more favorable guess for winning one of the five credit prizes in a drawing? Or a wait-out to make an unlikely guess based on everyone else's guesses in hopes of winning one of the two big prizes? The choice is yours.

** The winner of the gift card will have one week after all the winners have been announced to contact kjwkjw via PM or Skype with an e-mail address so that the prize can be given out. If none is provided within the week, the chance will be passed to the next closest guesser (he or she will be contacted via forum PM should this happen). The prize may be passed down to the 3rd closest guesser; if he or she does not send in an e-mail address within a week, no one will receive the gift card. ):

In addition, ONLY the closest guesser has the option to voluntarily pass the gift card prize down to the next closest guesser for 300,000 credits. This must also be done within a week of the winner announcement.


Is there an entrance fee?
Nope, as usual. Just post in the thread and you're good to go!
