I noticed the big jackpot, too. Sounds like more fun just because it's so big than the little cost of 250 credits. But now I feel like I shouldn't play the entire day to try to increase my chances of winning since I worry my guess will be too low.

I have an 11469 gap. And at least it's close to where I expect this to end up if I just don't play the entire day. Ugh, oh well, time to start working on my algebra prelim and making the steps to Electric Angel.
