FFR Awards 2010 - Results
Thanks for the patience, everybody. It's time to present the winners of the 2010 forum awards!
Btw I'm very much aware of the fact that 2010 on FFR was equivalent to roughly three months. This was hosted more for you guys to try to enjoy this event again. No harm done? Hopefully! I'll post the winners in the same order of the voting template. Oh, and apologies for the relatively weak commentary compared to previous years. TRD is too good to match up against haha. FORUM We start out with the friendliest poster. The results were pretty close. Both 2nd place and 1st place had a tie between two people. The victors are HammyMcSquirrel and nois-or-e. Time to throw down the gauntlet and settle this in a very friendly fight to the death, Jae. Please meet me by the flagpole after class to settle this matter, bitch. Thank you! Competition for least friendliest poster was pretty fierce with many tears shed. Through all the cruelty, only one asshole can be recognized. The winner in the end is xBBx Takedown. Nicely done, ya big jerk. Taking on the horrible, dreadful, painstaking job of helping people is TC_Halogen, who has won the award for most helpful poster. On the other side of the spectrum, the least helpful poster is xBBx Takedown. If you need help being more helpful, Takedown, I've heard Halogen is a good person to go to. There's not much to say about the best overall poster besides the obvious. They're a little bit of everything that doesn't make us feel embarrassed to be a part of the same species. The winner is TC_Halogen. As for the person who is potentially one of the most hated, if not the most hated person here, we have the worst overall poster. Andrew Mitchell takes this prize. What an honor. Funniest poster is Plan_Bsk81127. Interesting... If you post in this thread, I will expect it to be extremely funny. Don't let me down. Least funniest poster is ghost-. Look on the bright side. At least you aren't the worst overall poster. The critical thinking forum is the domain of this next winner. The award for smartest poster goes to reincarnate. It was a close match between him and Reach. Both of them definitely deserve the votes they received. Oh, and stupidest poster goes to Andrew Mitchell. On a rollllllll! The person the majority likes the most, our winner for favorite poster, is One Winged Angel. Have a song, sir. Our most interesting poster this time around is reincarnate. I can't argue with that when you think of all of the drama caused on top of the CT debates. Most random poster is 0. o Least noticed poster is Cold Kitten. Hopefully not anymore after winning this award. You may have to host more tournaments and make more profile layouts. 8) Approaching 11,000 effin' posts, our winner for biggest postwhore is who_cares973 with a whopping 21 votes. 2nd place got two votes lmao The winners for the next two categories aren't technically new to the site, but I guess they came out of nowhere and were known by very few, if anybody at all. The best newbie is MarioNintendo. The worst newbie is Andrew Mitchell. Congrats, Mario. Better luck next year, Andrew. Best avatar goes to flashpantss. I'm assuming his "party hard" avatar was what people enjoyed the most. I'd post it if he hadn't changed it since the voting process. Edit: Avatar received.  Worst avatar goes to our lord and savior, Synthlight. Fourth time in a row lmfao  Best signature is a tie between flashpantss, Gundam-Dude, and who_cares973. Worst signature is a tie between DossarLX ODI and Gundam-Dude. Love and hate for Gundam-Dude. THREADS Most interesting critical thinking discussion is Suicide. Most enjoyable chit chat thread is NotFFRon. I bet it would be even more enjoyable if NotFFRon was completed.  Best thread of 2010 is December 31, 2010 :: 11:59pm apparently. In other words, there was no best thread of 2010. Worst thread of 2010 is Is it wrong to be gay? Homophobes. PERSONALITY / OTHER I'm getting lazy with the commentary but here we gooooo. The winner of the most talented category consists of three people. They are darkshark, leonid, and Velocity. All great choices, in my opinion. Another tie for the next category, but this time between two people for best FFR music artist. KgZ and championanwar win this round, with Kommisar as a close 2nd. Perhaps a collab is in order?  Best FFR simfile artist goes to bmah. Congrats, and keep up the good work! The most artistic/best art award goes to darkshark. No one should be surprised by this. Fantastic artist right here. Our most missed staff member is Tasselfoot. This actually kind of surprised me haha. Scottish came in 2nd. The most missed non-staff member is jellygod. R.I.P., man. You don't need to win this award to know we all miss you dearly. ): Best current moderator award goes to nois-or-e. The 24/7 guardian of prochat. Best current administrator goes to aperson with 26 votes. The highest amount of votes for a single person out of all the categories.  Sexiest male is a tie between XXXsmittyXXX and kmay. Sexiest female goes to prongsie. Threesome? FUTURE! The winner for next mod is TC_Halogen, and the winner for next admin is jimerax. Congrats on the recognition, you two! Next ban goes to ghost-. Will get to that in a bit. User most likely to leave soon is reincarnate. FFR - THE GAME I can't say anything about the files since I haven't played many new files since the site came back up, but here are the winners. Best FFR file from 2010 is a tie between Cette Annee and Infiltration. Worst FFR file from 2010 is Einstein-Rosen Bridge. The FFR gamewhore happens to also be our favorite poster, One Winged Angel. We love you, you whore! The most inspiring player is TC_Halogen. You're just gobbling up these awards, aren't you? Up and coming FFRer is pmonibuv1. Don't stop believing. HALL OF FAME Ohhhhh boy, the greatest of all awards. Only the most intense badasses can step into this hall. Our winner during the last forum awards was the legendary Shashakiro, where he was the first person to enter this realm of recognition. Now he'll no longer have to scream about his 2000 combo alone and let it echo off into the distance with no one to hear it. Today, our second person to enter the hall of fame is aperson!
