hello all, i want to get started in making music files for ffr and im not sure of which program(s) i should be using... any suggestions?

music files. not stepfiles. Unless if he meant the latter.
cubase + synthesizer is what I do. But it really depends on the kind of music you're aiming for. EDIT: I never read the Musician Jungle Gym stickies...

FL Studio is probably what most people will tell you.
If you can handle the :hardcore: interface, Reason could be good. |

im interested in making the music(speed core/uber core and other various techno) and im not too keen on making step files cuz i suck XD

i tried fl studio, but it does not work quite the way i would like it. i have another list of programs to try but thanks anyways
