Combat Arms?

I'm gonna go ahead and edit this post.
I've been playing Combat Arms for over two months now (started on August 10th), and I'm very impressed with the game. It doesn't compete with expensive top-rated shooters out there such as Counter-Strike, but it's probably the best free FPS I've ever seen.

My username is Zurenriri, I am currently ranked at Sergeant First Class, Grade 3.

I'll provide screenshots soon enough.

it's actually a good game. Very easy though, that's why I prefer to play Counter-Strike instead. It's basically a mix of CS and CoD4 a little bit, but yeah if you don't have either of these games, its definately a good free FPS. I say DL it.

Its a pretty fun game, better than A LOT of shooters out there. Its better because its kinda like Rainbow Six aswell how you can customize your weapons and such. Getting different scopes, silencers. Add extra clips onto your weapons
Pretty cool imo.
Haven't played much of it but it would be good to try if your into shooting games.
Lvling system is decent, not to long to level up and not to short.
Might take a long time later on but, in the beggining its alright.

Was CB tester but since I don't have access to my good comp I haven't played it since then o.o but will start playing again once I get back to my good comp (august 21st)

Is anyone getting an error that you can't connect to the server (error -2, 10060) ?

I was playing and it suddenly crashed and now can't connect 0.0

I can't find any informations on their site and their forum is down.

I've never seen that before simzilla, try uninstalling and reinstalling, that might help.

heyy if u still have that problem you might have to re-install then when u install it again make sure your firewall is off. it fixed mine. i had that error for 2 weeks until now

I'm playing this game now, but the sad part is that my computer can hardly handle it. I can play a couple of games for a while, but the game eventually crashes and takes my computer with it. It's pretty fun, but the only maps I can really play on is Snow Valley and Junk Flea. Other maps, I have to camp in the non-laggy areas to try and rack up kills. Well, hopefully the new harddrive that replaces this one will have nvidia/ati graphics. This Intel crap can't handle ****. -.-

This game is very fun i play quite a lot lol but im having a bit of trouble playing I cant connect to the server :\. Anyways I would recommend downloading if you like fps games.

Also, stay away from anyone named Armageddon28, he's a real ****ing tool.

This was a fun game for me, but i prefer counterstrike source instead. Try downloading it and play it, and lets see what you think of this game. I quit this game 2 weeks after it came out, because of the population, and the game kept making me lag, it freezed, then it disconnects me out of the server. it was a horrible experience for me. i hope you got a super fast computer and an excellent internet connection.

Big fan of the game, but I've noticed that the number of hackers has gone up recently, likely because it's been a while since the last patch. I've had very few problems with lag and I've never disconnected.

Stopped playing this because of crashes every 30 minutes because this computer can't handle **** despite the game being set completely down to the lowest possible graphical settings.

@IAAW: Aww, that sucks.

@Necamus: Yeah, I'm SSG 3rd right now too, about 30% of the way to rank-up. And, actually, I rarely see hackers. It's mostly glitchers, like the fags who hide in the boxcar at Alpha Spawn on Grey Hammer. If I catch one on my team doing it, I usually tell the other team to come kill them, and it usually works.

Also, does anyone else here hate how those damn Brazilians behave? I mean, I'm not racist towards Brazilians or anything, but you'd think they could learn a little English before playing an English game, instead of making their own [very strong] subculture in the game?

I'm at like 70%. It's wicked slow nowadays. And I've been sucking terribly.

Yeah, glitchers piss me off. Boxcar on Grey (Gray?) Hammer, the crane at the Bravo spawn of Two Towers. Then there are a couple sniper spots where you cannot possibly hit anyone hiding there but they can kill you (One in Two Towers, one in Gray Hammer, etc). Technically not glitching, but still a pain in the ass.

Also, new map: Bushwood or something like that. Pretty nice map, not a lot of sniping spots because of the low visibility and all the debris. Has a lot of foliage to hide in.

Highest ranked person I saw was a Lieutenant. I've only seen one, but I think it was a first Lieutenant, which would be insane.

And I've no problem with the Brazilians, they die just like the rest of the nubs.

I just wish I could've played more. For me the maps lagged like ****ing crazy and I could only stick in a few couple spots where I could actually pick off people. I also often crashed during the middle of matches, which also pissed me the **** off whenever I was winning.

It was fun, so I might try playing it again with a different account. (No point in using my old one, all the weapons/attachments are expired by now, so no point.)

PS: I'll try playing again when I get a new harddrive. This one's OLD, and will probably get replaced as soon as it says "**** you I'm not doing this **** anymore I quit *crashes forever*".
