Default I am new, but not a n00b

Just to let you know, I am pretty good at DDR. I was just introduced to this about two or so days ago. I already have an FC...although, I'm not much into understanding much about those. I am pretty good at FFR...although I must work on my technique more...my hand cramped up yesterday, and it still hurts now. v.v Hehe...any who, feel free to post here and PM me.

I hope to make many great friends here since I'm sure I'll like to challenge you, and or ask some needed questions everynow and then. ^^

Lots of love,

Kurenai

Make sure you try out the different speed mods. Go into settings and try x1.25 first, and if that is slow then try going up higher. This will definitely help you out.

Alright, thanks for the welcome.

As far as the stickies...I think so, too. I've done a lot of forum posting over the past, I know the rules pretty well.

Hi, welcome to Flash Flash Revolution Community, KurenaiHime!

Just a tip. Try playing FFR two-handed. Go to "Settings" on the first screen, and set your key configuration to something like Z , X , N , M. Those will then act as your arrow keys. You can change them back whenever you want, but keep in mind that this "spread" playing style is what all of the best players use, and that once you get used to one-handed style like me, it's very hard to switch. -_-

If you have questions, just ask.

To Crashfan3: I'll try your idea..but...I think I'm pretty good at the arrows... I've always had trouble doing different techniques...

To Beethovens mask: Yes, I already have 1 FC... I don't know how though.

To sarahxjane: Thank you for the welcome.

Click me if you want to get better at FFR
Click me if you have any questions you need to ask.

There is a lot in store for people like you. Explore here and there, play the game and interact with the community.

Note: I suggest you to post in default colour and font. It's not because I think it's not pretty or colourful, but it can really somtimes put people off when reading. Many new members on the site are beginning to colour-text and font-text. It's nothing you look down upon, but I think more people will look upon you and respect you without the need for colour/font texts.

Your call. Welcome aboard the realm of FFR.

Thank you for the links.

Oh, well, ^^ alright then. I'm just used to doing that. I suppose I'll live with just using regular text then.

And a lot in store for me...I think I've discovered some of that already.

Thanks for the welcome.

I feel you're handling your start pretty well. If you see me in Multi-player, which many new players take a while to find, talk to me and I'll see if I can help you with whatever.

Alright, thanks. And I know what multiplayer is...At the moment though I'm just playing songs for credits and practicing my skills at the Standard songs. I want to get better at them.

@ Crashfan and Commander.
What? She is new, she doesn't need speed mods or spread yet.
I played on the arrow keys until about 3 weeks ago, Kurenai.
And I didn't use a speed mod until about a month ago.
Don't bother just yet, unless you REALLY want to.

And btw, welcome to FFR.
The community is MOSTLY cool, so you shouldn't have any problems.
Too bad you JUST joined, the 4th official tournament started 3 weeks ago.

Actually, the speed mods did a lot of good. I have lots of trouble with slow songs, so its easier to go fast. If that makes any sense at all.

I can't even switch to the spread, I have to keep on the keys for a while. I just tired switching, it didn't work that well..v.v

Any who...yeah, too bad... I would have like to be in the tournament. ^^

But thanks anyways.

.
Well it's not supposed to be easy. I recommend switching to spread now instead of learning bad habits.
