Default Zoning out during a song

I was playing FFR when I realized during the middle of the song that I had no clue what song it was...I had completely zoned out. So I just waited until the end and then realized it was {Arabian Assassin} (after seeing the song title).

Has this ever happened to anyone else? If it hasn't, I encourage you to try it out sometime. It's a surreal experience. (protip: play a song you haven't played recently or never at all, and don't remember this thread when you do so, so that you will actually forget the song title)

It hasn't happened to me yet. During summer, when I'll be playing FFR way more, I'll probably one day be really tired and play a few hours of FFR. That will be the time when I zone out.

I get sleepy playing certain songs. Bicycle Break for instance.

Yeah this is the reason why I play FFR, I <3 zoning out, hahaha.
One some occasions I will forget the song name, but not all the time.
I do better when I am zoned out, and once I a realize that I was just zoned out, I'll get a good or something, unless I concentrate.

lol

Ya, sometimes I'll play a couple of songs and actually do pretty good while day dreaming.

I think I did that once last night...or the night before...playing Silence with autofail on. I got to a 665 combo before I missed. Freaking 666th note...I just can't seem to read the ~500-700 section now.

Does it count when you're playing songs using random, and you can't tell what song it is?

this game plays with your mind thats for sure
playing the game works the mind in a hypnotic kind of way
you can be playing without thought without feeling the time go by without other thoughts at all
people go in and out of those hypnotic states on all kind of things

I find that I do much better when I zone out. My fingers just seem to move naturally. It's a really weird feeling.
