FFR's hidden treasures
There are a lot of underrated stepfiles in FFR, but I'll start with one.
Chlorophyll is, in one word, amazing. BDN and gnr61 have collabed on this masterpiece, and it's pretty damn fun. Ironically, this minimal song is minimally noticed. It's in Funk right now. Isn't it funny how some mediocre stepcharts get a lot of attention, but masterful charts like Chlorophyll and Choprite and Final Step and many others are stepped over? Have you ever noticed a stepfile that you think is worthy of a post? |

Re: FFR's hidden treasures
Excite Bike is all you need to play, then vROLF.
I think one of the best is Silver_Brian's stepfiles. I don't see why no one likes them. They're well stepped and they're not hard but not too easy, though they are a pain to AAA for me. Gladly I'm almost done with them. -Edit- I like how you named the thread. It wasn't like, " Oh, what's your favorite song?" Or of such nature. Good job Moches!

Re: FFR's hidden treasures
Yeah, that was pretty melodramatic, wasn't it? Uh, Choprite? I don't see any SM chart for that. Last edited by moches; 02-16-2008 at 02:09 PM.. |

Re: FFR's hidden treasures
I guess so, yet still. You have a good reason to dislike them, but I hear others that don't like them because of the steps. I don't find anything wrong with them.

He loves long streams of jumps. I hate long streams of jumps. Thus, I don't like his stepfiles.

Re: FFR's hidden treasures
I've always thought that Fantranstic (Dance 2, page 4) has great steps. They make sense AND are onbeat.
Playdoh (Miscellaneous, page 5) has great steps. They seem to be pretty onbeat. I think the steps Jell-O uploaded to the database have a few different arrows and are a little offbeat, but that can be fixed. State of Emergency (Miscellaneous last page) is just plain fun. Again, onbeat steps that make sense.

Re: FFR's hidden treasures
It was actually just BDN's file...For some reason the song authors got screwed up for a lot of his files. Choprite included.

Re: FFR's hidden treasures
lol song authors got messed up because he took patterns from people's original versions of the songs (chlorophyll, NWE, choprite, epidermis) and used them in his own. later i guess rebirth said they were stolen and called them collabs.
honestly though despite like 2 really obvious things his chlorophyll is pretty different from mine. nwe's is nothing like rai rais. choprite is really the only one that is noticeably derivative.

Re: FFR's hidden treasures
I'm making my new files based on feedback from everyone. I'm also having them tested specifically for the sync as well, so they won't be a pain in the ass to AAA.
