Ok everyone listen carefully! I am not Emo. Here are the reasons why.

1. I dont cut myself.
2. I am not depressed right now.
3. I don't hate my parents.
4. I do care what people say.

And thats why I am posting this!

People please help me out.

Then don't complain when you actively appeal to a stereotype, and people identify you as belonging to that stereotype.

It seems that these categorizations are based on display pictures before anything else. Many people who are emo take their pictures in a way similar to how you took your current display picture. Perhaps that's why.

2. I use anime to escape reality.
3. I have such few friends in reality.
4. I don't have a social life in reality.

'Emo' is just a stereo-type.

It can be considered a genre of music, a style of dress,or a type of personality.

they might just be using the 'style of dress' definition for you. I mean, I'll admit, I listen to emo music and dress emo sometimes, but that doesn't mean I act emo.

In my eyes, emo never existed. A sub genre of something far worse than this couldn't help but dismiss itself after a bad experience with it.

I once get depressed alot, I hate my parents, and most of the time, I usually don't give a rat's ass about what people say unless it concerns and/or interests me. But I sure as hell am not emo.

Your hair just can't give away a personality btw, so nobody can't judge you solely on that. It's character you build up and how you present yourself.

As for your first posts, I commend you on near decent grammar. Nice first impressions. =)

I never quite understood the whole emo look. Why would guys want to wear make up and have girly long hair.

Anyway regardless of my opinons, you shouldn't give to much of a damn about others thoughts on your looks.
