How do I get started?

First you must click one of the four different looks you can have for your pet, and then you can name it.


So I just made my pet. What do all the options mean? Also what do all the stats mean?

Feed: Just like the name says, it will feed your pet. To know when your pet is getting hungry, just hover your mouse over your pet, and wait for a status menu to show up. The status menu will show your pet’s name, its Life Bar, a hunger bar, and a cleanliness bar. It also shows the age and owner. The hunger bar indicates how hungry your pet is. (the green is how full it is)

Clean: Your pet will get dirty after a while, and by clicking “clean” your pet will be cleaned (or groomed or whatever you want to call it). The cleanliness bar shows you how clean or dirty your pet is.

Free: Each profile is a pen. By clicking free, your pet can leave your “pen” and wander into other profiles. You cannot feed or clean your pet if it is at another person’s pen. It can eat a pizza if it’s hungry from someone’s profile, but we’ll talk about those later.

Home: This is how to call your pet to come back to your profile. The longer your pet has been freed for, the longer the time it will take your pet to come back. Don’t worry though, as it’ll come back eventually =) [It takes approximately 10 seconds per profile it has lurked through]. The home button is very useful, because your pet can’t be fed nor cleaned while it’s at someone else’s profile.

Say: This feature is just for fun. Just type something (clean) in the textbox and click say. A speech bubble will show up next to your pet. It will have what you typed in the speech bubble.


How do I see what my pet is doing after I’ve freed it?

At the top, it says “Your pet is currently at [insert name]’s profile”. Just click the name and you’ll be able to watch your pet!


Why is there a Pizza and what are Credits?


The “pizzas” are a way to feed your pet while you’re gone for a few days. Each pizza costs one credit (they do not affect your credits in FFR). As soon as it’s eaten, you’ll get that credit back. Your pet will only eat a pizza, if it gets to a certain amount of hunger. But beware; other pets might come out of their pens to come to your profile to eat the pizza. .

My pet is basically stuck at another person’s pen, and I didn’t even let it free!

If your pet has gotten hungry to a certain point, your pet will leave the pen and go to someone else’s pen where they have pizza to eat. To get your pet to come back to your profile, you must hit “free” then “home” because technically it is supposed to still be at your pen.


My pet’s life bar is going down, what can I do?

The life bar depletes after you have not fed your pet in a while and/or you haven’t cleaned it. To solve these problems, simply do the reverse (make sure it’s well fed and cleaned often).

Where can I customize the background color, text color, and even turn this feature off?

Go to your profile and click “Edit your Profile”


What will profile pets eventually be able to do?


Steal tokens, steal credits, ban people from their profile for taking bad care of
their pet, and much more!

Nice work on this.
Thanks for taking the time to work on something for profile pets. (I had questions about pizzas and stuff myself)

The pets do nothing except lag your computer when you stalk people while on multiplayer.

Is this just me or does this sound really stupid? Is this a joke? Taking people's hard earned tokens and credits?!?!?!?!? And banning them from seeing their profile?

That's in the future, and it's been talked about in the subscriber forums by xelius and such. Whether they're going to happen anytime soon, don't ask me.

Just kidding ... nice FAQ. I didn't know about the whole having to click Free THEN Home to get my pet back. I was wondering why it stayed in the same profile for more than a minute.
