we've contacted artists who submit their songs to OCRemix... like Bubble Bobble and Balloon Fever. but no... we don't have any agreement with OCRemix, for obvious reasons that they're a website and they have thousands of people posting their songs.

you can contact individuals from OCRemix though. i would imagine they'd be happy to agree.

EH? sonic is "OKAY" i guess, I agree Arcade (and funk) need more songs,,(so does hiphop, but i hate rap)

No, a remix would be something like- Ska Ska Sonic or something.

These are like remastered versions of the songs. Essentially, the song is put into fruity loops, and layered over with better sounding instruments.

If that's the case, I could convert my v2 charts of Hydrocity Zone and Act1-Forest for play in FFR.

and this isn't to say that I want like 50 million sonic songs. i really just want CNZ. but, if this will start a movement to get a bunch of arcade songs in general into FFR, awesome. i'd love to have a ton more oldschool video game songs.

for newsground... please still contact the artist, even though i'm about 99% sure they'll agree. same with ocremix.org stuff.

The easiest way to find BPM is to play the song and headbob or tap your foot to the beat for 15 seconds (watch your timer or use a stopwatch or something). Then multiply by 4. You can also listen for 30 and multiply by 2, or listen for 60 and just take the number. I generally count to 15 so I don't mess up counting. If you have one of those hand counters, that would probably be the best.
