Practice. Try to keep a steady beat. Listen to what other people are playing and watch the conductor, and don't just sit there reading your own music not paying attention to anything else.

Yeah, not much to do with drums except practice the way you'd pretty much expect to. Of course there are techniques, but they're more often than not for composing beats, not playing them.

What kind of drummer? I mean there are band drummers who play different percussion things, or there are drummers that play on acoustic/electric sets. I've been playing drums for about 2 years and my kit has over $1,800 dollars put into it. I love playing, it's a great hobby especially if you're in a band. My band is about to release its first album with about 14 songs. My aim sn is whitesox0527 if you want some advice, or just PM me.
