The Unofficial SM Tourney (Held By Me)

Ok, here's the deal.

You first must have SM 3.9, 3.95. or 4.0.

You also need the DDR Original packs, mixes 1-5, MAX-EX2, Solos, and Club, and ITG1 and 2.

Now, this tourney will have 32 people, including me, so I need 31 others.

Well, signups will be until next Sunday (March 25), so you got plenty of time.

Ok ok, semi-seriously. Tell me, what makes you feel you should run a stepmania tournament? What would you bring to it? How would you make it fun? Why are you only using pad-packs?

I forgot where to get the ITG songs, so if you don't have them, it's okay. I'll make a ZIP to send it to you, without the vids (it'll be too big).

Also, it will not matter if you use a pad or the keys.

Here are the rules:

1. The following packs will be used:

DDR, Mixes 1-5
DDR, MAX-EX2
DDR, Solo 200 and Bass
DDR, 2nd Mix, Club Append V2
DDR, UM1-3
ITG, 1 and 2 (not all there)

2. Only SSR (Heavy, Hard) and Oni (Challenge, Expert) will be used.
3. SM 3.9 and above is required.
4. I will Email you your opponents and song.
5. Take a screenshot of your score. I will analyze the ratio of greats and others to perfects (and marvelouses). Freeze and roll judgments are ignored. This scoring will be for the first three rounds.
6. Best occurence wins. (For example, 1:7 will lose against 1:2)

8. Timing Level 4 and above is allowed. Level 3, 2, and 1 users will be disqaulified.
9. Insert Mods (Quick, Skip, Stomp, Wide, Stream, Echo, Floored, Twist, Plant), as well as little, is not allowed.

Scoring

1. In the first three rounds (First 32, QuarterFinals, and SemiFinals), the ratio method will be used.
2. In the event of a tie with the ratio method, a tiebreaker song will be issued. This, however, is judged on how many points are earned. The winner must win by at least 250,000.
3. In the StepMania Final Four, scores are judged upon points. The winner must win by at least 500,000.
4. In the event of a tie in the Final Four, the same method of the tiebreaker in the first three rounds will be used. The margin this time is 375,000.
5. The last round, Battle for Champion, an NBA style system will be used. Like in the NBA Playoffs, this round will be best of 7. Winner of each song is decided by score. Highest score wins. There are no tiebreakers or overtime.

u can get most of those packs at http://www.stepmaniadownloadsource.com/ and some people are good enough to get an AAA on faxx oni, not me but im just sayin. and ill join snice i have all the packs besides supernova.

LOLOLOLOL WTF? I just played the song for the first time, and I get 9 greats, so if I got a AAA I would get disqualified? D:

EDIT: Just did the song again, 2nd time, 3 greats, FC, I don't think I would want to join this tournament if I would be disqualified for getting a good score on a song.
