Default XP Supported 4k games

I'm an old tech nerd. After finding out about the discontinuation of old build support for FFR, I haven't really been playing rhythm games on my old systems. Anybody know a 4k rhythm game that still gets supported on Windows XP?

Maybe StepMania 3.9. I work primarily as a Computer Repair Technician, and even the old-age folk that bring their systems in nowadays at least have Windows 7.

Definitely StepMania 3.9, I think even some builds of StepMania 5 work on WinXP, it just depends on specs, given SM isn't that hard of a game to run, it shouldn't be too hard getting something at least somewhat modern running on such an old OS.

No prob man! I dabbled for a while in getting a new-ish build of SM running on an old Pentium 2 I think? All I can remember at this time is it was a Dell Dimension 2400, crappy Intel GMA Graphics, and good ole XP SP2. Sadly now it’s relegated to 4 suit Solitaire, but hey, it’s lived through AIM’s glory days, it deserves a nice bouncy card retirement.

Damn. My childhood PC was a Dimension as well. We still have it, but due to middle-school me screwing around with disassembling PC's without researching them first, I messed up a lot of stuff. (Bending pins on CPU, missing wires, bent HDD pins, etc.)

I plan on giving the thing a full restoration. It's the least that I could do considering the amount of TORMENT I put that thing through.

Still using the monitor in that picture for another XP machine that I used back then as well, and there is a set of two Harmon/Kardon speakers that I either need to repair, or trash and find another set of.

Oooooh! Sick! I actually have the PC my grandmother had when I was a kid, my brother’s using it right now and I hopefully plan on getting him an upgrade considering both its age and what he does on it (make Roblox games, it runs yeah, but the thing runs at a solid like 10-15 FPS on a good day.) It’s an a HP Pavilion 7560p if I’m not wrong on the model number, had to use a USB wifi dongle to get wifi working on the thing lol.

If you can get this to run it's probably going to be a great experience compared to all the other abandonware out there
