Remember this web page?
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/stats/regions.php
That is the Regional Rankings page. It doesn't seem to be up to date in terms of the new ranking system. I suggest it gets updated!

Re: Remember this web page?
If that were to be done, then wouldn't it be fair to do a general location check of all the high ranked players on those lists?

I like how UK and Ireland is lumped in with Europe yet USA gets multiple sub-sections.

Re: Remember this web page?
It's surprising that Canada isn't broken down by province given how the vast majority of ffr users seem to be Canadian.

Re: Remember this web page?
This is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. Creating a new regional rankings page is next on my list, and I'm happy you guys are excited about the idea too. I'm currently taking some time away from FFR to focus on school (see my random thought), but as soon as I'm back this will be my priority!
I'll also be removing "gaming regions", and sorting regional leaderboards by cardinal directions, and state/province breakdowns. (Who is the best player in Wyoming?! Stay tuned!) Example of regional rankings in Canada: - West: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan Yukon, North-West Territories. - Central: Manitoba, Ontario, Nunavut. - East: Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. |

If there's anything that also need to be updated is the country database. Some weird mistakes there. Everything that needs to be changed is listed here (or in an attachment in the Slack group). It's less of a worry though.

Re: Remember this web page?
How would you keep people from not cheating the rankings and lying about what region they are in to be higher on the leaderboards in a less competitive area? Couldn't users just change their location information or is this being tracked somehow else?

Should be noted that I have no idea how hard/easy this would be to actually implement.
