Being too nervous to ask out the girl I like a couple of the reasons because I over think literally everything and I have fears I'd get rejected because I've been rejected before twice (two different times obviously) and that puts down my self-confidence.

Potential boyfriend wanted to do something nice for me but didn't want to ask me to be his Valentine this year since it still felt too soon.

So we went on a date last night instead, still determining how it went and if we'll continue from this point. If we both decide it went well, maybe next year I'll have a Valentine.
