What instruments do you currently play/used to play?

Figure it would be fun to see where everyone's musical experience is and used to be, since not all of us stick to everything we start.

Currently play:
Flute (B foot, offset G, open hole) - 1 year
Piccolo - brand new

Used to play:
Clarinet - 1 year
Bass Clarinet - 1 year
Oboe - 6 months
Piano - 2 years
Guitar - 3 years

Clarinet - 6 years (Bb - 5 years; Bass - 1 year)

I guess I can play the clarinet ok, played it for a year. Some other instruments I know a couple of tunes on, but they're not instruments I have played seriously.

switched to trumpet in mid 2003 and played it until 2008, my last year I was section leader.


I played guitar frequently from 2002-2004 but never really got into it again since then.


I've been playing gameboy since 2008 and haven't looked back.

I played the flute in elementary school and never touched it again since. Sucks since I was the best in the class.

I whistle all the time and I'm pretty proficient. I guess that doesn't count. I dunno how relevant it is to singing but I guess I'm pretty good at that too because of it. I just never do it.

I wanna play piano but I have no way to access one q_q I'm sure I'd be good at it because my mom's side was pianists. I seriously hope I didn't get just her bad genes.

I have played piano for over ten years, and played 1st B♭ clarinet in my high school concert & jazz bands. My favorite ensemble piece was Ghost Train By Eric Whitacre.

In 2005, I combined my love of music and online gaming, and began transcribing sheet music for Runescape and MapleStory. I eventually founded a website that has since accumulated over 50 arrangements from the scaping community for piano, piano duets, and various other instruments.

Played piano less than a year, all self taught so even less basically.

Signed up to play as a kid through school, though for some reason the queues were fucking outrageously long and when I got my slot like 3-4 years later I wasn't interested at all to play what I'd picked out and quit almost instantly.

I've played piano since I was about eight-years-old, so I've been playing it for almost twelve years now, and I still enjoy playing it. I also played rhythmic percussion instruments in middle school, and melodic percussion instruments in high school.

I also received an ocarina for my birthday, and I learned how to play basic pieces of music.
