Pope Benedict blesses Rebecca Kadaga, who "promises" to pass the the Anti-Homosexuality bill (popularly known as the "Kill The Gays" bill) as a "Christmas present" to Uganda.

Third:
Pope Benedict claims that gay marriage "consists in an offense against human nature, a deep wound inflicted to justice and peace."

Well honestly in that times people did not have that much choice, don't think it's much relevant at all. What's actually relevant is that he's a moronic medieval bigot and has shown this in multiple situations. It's frightening to think there's still millions and millions of people who listen throughly to every single bullshit church spouts.
