I'm makin' a new thread ~~~
Feedback please. Files are in chronological order (thanks for the idea Gundam <3) Also a HUGE thanks to Buizel for hosting the majority of these on his site. ![]() ![]() Singles (2008-2009) ![]() gfx by Mr. Bob personal notes: neat song but sort of mediocre file and I might want to restep this gfx by Mr. Bob (collab with Kommisar) personal notes: still a very fun file even though the song is ~Christmas~, ending has 64th roll dump syndrome ![]() graphics by Spitfire personal notes: at the time I thought this was the bomb. in retrospect it's one of my better old files but nothing great. Quote:
![]() gfx by Legacy personal notes: nobody likes this song ;___; simple and relatively fun Xoon 2 ![]() gfx by Noon personal notes: cornandbean's newer stuff is really good. the file's fine if you like straightlayering and freezes Quote:
![]() gfx by Coolboyrulez personal notes: boring MA file, about as good as it could be considering the song though Quote:
![]() gfx by Scylaax personal notes: nice scoring file, where I started experimenting with mines and such. good file Quote:
![]() gfx by Scylaax personal notes: typical Rushjet1 file. good MA file. light has aids Quote:
![]() gfx by Scylaax personal notes: kind of bland and it could be a lot better Quote:
![]() gfx by Mr. Bob personal notes: decently fun file although patterns could be better in some parts Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Scylaax personal notes: one of my first legitimately great files. patterns are sort of aids to hit in some spots but overall I still really like this. Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Scylaax personal notes: boring MA file that has barely no distinguishing features whatsoever Quote:
![]() gfx by Tsuka personal notes: sort of straightlayered and jacky in some spots but overall relatively well-made and fun. also this was my first kors k file :') Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by oops personal notes: MA file. might be fun? Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: some parts have choppy flow but it's a fun short file Quote:
![]() v2 gfx by Gundam-Dude, XMOD FILE personal notes: at the time of this pack's release this was my best file to date. still play it tbh Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude (collab with Cherubi + Kommisar) personal notes: obligatory Serenade rulz but I'm a song choice whore so w/e. fun file though, play it ![]() Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Noon (collab with dgk) personal notes: a little overlayered but wellmade and some people will find it fun Quote:
![]() gfx by Coolboyrulez0 personal notes: hardest nonjoke file I've made to date. experiments with some weird mine theory (this was my mine period ok?) Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: one of my best files. great for playing and for scoring. Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by The5thMoon personal notes: simple short MA file. weird green note theory Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: ~artsy~ MA file. mines are sort of amateurish Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude (collab with Puppet) personal notes: Puppet's chart is better but mine is more simple :> Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Necros personal notes: everybody says this is boring because it's long but personally I'm very proud of this file and the song is one of my alltime favorites Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: only made this file because I wanted to make an alias called spongebob. file is sort of weird but imho it's a good play Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Tsuka, XMOD FILE personal notes: LOVE this song, fun xmods and some nice jacks. Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Necros personal notes: really like this file. ending works with weird freeze theory Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Tsuka personal notes: one of my favorite works Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Tsuka personal notes: Serenade rulz. this file dates back to May before I revised the crap out of it and made it a lot better. seems to be sort of my trademark file Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Necros, please download this fix if you haven't already. personal notes: simple but ver fun. original version had megaupjack syndrome Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Don personal notes: artistic short file. could be boring for more experienced players Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by me since I don't want to steal from the Korean SM Community ;___; personal notes: probably my worst recent file but I made it in an hour so w/e I guess Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Scylaax, collab with alexdest, XMOD FILE personal notes: really fun on xmod. alex did most of the steps and I just revised some parts and added gimmicks Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx stolen from Ren personal notes: not a great file but it's at least agreeable Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude, please download this fix if you haven't already. personal notes: really like this file except for this awkward part near the end that I STILL don't know what to do with Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude, sorry Buizel personal notes: turned out a lot better than I thought it would overall. semihard to MA Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Trance Core personal notes: way better than White Tornado imho. Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: one of my favorite djmax songs. file's pretty fun, hard to AAA Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: freeze/mine theory Quote:
![]() gfx by Scylaax personal notes: straightforward and fun. restep of Kommi's old chart Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude (collab with Gundam-Dude) personal notes: two different charts for two different audiences. Gundam's is a bit more dense and layers more but mine has a simple, neat flow imho Quote:
![]() gfx by Kinx personal notes: neat song from Solo Rulz Pack that I stepped on a whim. first half is sorta uninteresting and repetitive but second half makes up for it Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude, XMOD FILE personal notes: fun gimmicks and chart if you're into this sort of thing Quote:
Mystery Pack 2 ![]() gfx by Don personal notes: file has a lot of jack theory. flows well and is fun for scoring. Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Don personal notes: much simpler than most of my files but really fun imho although it's easy. Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Noon/Gundam-Dude/Coolboyrulez personal notes: file is circa 2009. kind of hilarious in some spots but actually pretty fun if you can dig it Melon Collaboration Pack ![]() gfx by Ca25nada personal notes: random file I stepped on a whim but I like how this turned out. lots of minijacks (masuat you've been warned) Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Yume, also featured in AMC2 personal notes: yup another moches Serenade file. drags a little but has some really neat parts and it's solid imho alternate gfx here by SulferDragon Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: restepped after hearing the song and playing the file for it in SMG2. this is a fairly short file but it's quite dense and has some interesting work with jack/mine theory. not to mention it's a lotta fun ![]() Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Kraezymann personal notes: Forte Escape's best song imho. really cool file; ending is O.o Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: restep of John11's file. easy MA file but it has some neat parts. recommended for beginners really Quote:
Quote:
SMOC Collab Pack ![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: the legacy continues. most people like part I better but honestly I think this tops it; might even be one of my favorite files out of what I've done so far Quote:
![]() gfx by Torrent personal notes: has some pretty dense parts so good luck AAA'ing 8) (also featured in Secret Santa Pack) Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Gundam-Dude personal notes: never really enjoyed the version of this found in SMGCRP so I made my own. short and jazzy Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() gfx by Don personal notes: my interpretation of a Sota Fujimori song. clean, high-energy file with a few tricks up its sleeve Quote:
Quote:
Quote:
![]() featured in people who haven't stepped 6-key pack/gfx by Kraezymann personal notes: my second serious solo file...it's pretty easy except for the end. much more well-received than I had anticipated Quote:

Your files are cool sometimes but I kinda dislike the "background sounds theory". Vanity and Car Sax are a good example (I've even made personnal "Scylaax edited versions" to make these files to my taste because of how much your style makes me feel like you missed a lot of potential in the song)
Shinsekai and Spiral are very fun though. My fav is by far Scar in the Earth.

sometimes they can be ver cool but sometimes they're kind of cramped (there's only so much you can do with 4-keys right?) but that's just my opinion. personally I like files that are simple and clean without sacrificing form/expression, and over time my files have come to reflect that.thanks for the comment though, as a matter of fact I'll hit your thread up with a reply right now |
